OEHV-Diplomhotelier (Austrian Hotel Association certified hotelier)

OEHV-Diplomhotelier is a qualification program from the Austrian Hotel Association for hotel leaders. It covers commercial, legal, and strategic foundations specific to the Austrian hotel market: ownership structures, legal framework, professional language.

Qualifications in hospitality are hard to read from the outside. OEHV-Diplomhotelier is one of the few with a clear, structured content frame.

What we see in practice: The OEHV credential is part of my professional foundation. In Austrian consulting engagements, that is not a nice-to-have. It is the basis for a shared frame of reference. Anyone working with a Tyrolean family business or a Salzburg city hotel needs to know the structures and the language behind them. This credential sharpens both. Not as a title, but as context. Knowing the terrain because you learned it -- not because you once stayed there.
