Owner-operated hotels in the DACH region.
This consulting doesn't fit every property. It isn't supposed to.
-
Owner-operated hotels
Independent and boutique properties where decisions get made around the kitchen table, not in a board meeting. That's where this work lives.
-
Handovers and succession
Family or leadership handovers are rarely clean. When old structures meet a new generation, questions show up that nobody can answer on the side.
-
Properties with layered tech
PMS, accounting, and POS that piled up over years. Every change feels like a Jenga tower. Sorting matters more than buying new.
-
Small groups, up to about five properties
Groups where joint steering makes sense without a central head office. One person to call is more useful than three specialized agencies.
Not the right fit for
Larger chains with their own central departments are better served by specialized agencies. Same goes for pure booking platforms, or properties that already made the call and just want a stamp on it.

Frequently asked questions
Who is this consulting for?
Owner-operated independent and boutique hotels in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), typically 30 to 300 rooms. That is the range where operational complexity meets owner authority. The deciding factor isn't the room count. It's whether the owner runs the business and whether there is a working team on the property.
Do you advise smaller owner-operated properties too?
Yes, when a structured engagement actually makes sense. The focus is owner-operated properties with their own team, where strategic and operational questions land at the same desk: building out financial controls, integrating systems, succession planning. Pure rental models without an active hotel operation aren't the focus.
Do you work with hotel chains or franchise operations?
No. The focus is the owner-operated business. If you run it and you make the calls, you're who I work with.
